Members’ External Exhibition

Dear Members of the Thornbury Art Club,
Do you store paintings under the bed or in the back of the wardrobe due to lack of space ?
Well now’s the chance to have them hung where people can see and even buy them.
We have 4 venues in the Thornbury area that are happy to display members’ artwork:- The Chantry, The Tea Room, Thornbury Health Centre, The Library and Almondsbury Health Centre.

Your artwork will remain exhibited in one of these venues for between 4 to 6 months then will move on to another venue in order to attract a wider audience. It’s a flexible arrangement so if you need your painting returned at anytime that is not an issue.
If the painting sells, that’s great news and you receive your payment, minus 15% Club commission. Any unsold work will be returned to you. Pictures are hung at your own risk but we do our utmost to keep them safe and free from damage.
If you are interested in this scheme then just bring your painting along to a club night for us to collect. These should be labelled with your Name, Title and Price and framed/mounted ready to be exhibited.
